These portals, however, can only be placed on specific surfaces, a decision to limit players from spamming this feature excessively, hence risking to making the game redundant. What makes Splitgate interesting is the fact that anyone can open portals to bounce around the map, shoot their enemies in the head and more. It’s easy to spot the similarities between Halo and Splitgate as the team behind the game consists of several Halo 3 veterans. ![]() This is a fast-paced arena-based shooter, and an ambitious take on the genre, incorporating different ideas all mashed together.
